Our lives are a sum of our beliefs, and experiences resulting from our beliefs. To identify the lies we tell ourselves on a daily basis requires brutal honesty and humility before God. God wants us to take captive those thoughts that exalt themselves above God and replace them with the truth. Only in knowing the truth will we ever be free to live as God intended. This class will focus in on what we think about ourselves – our self-talk and train us how to discipline our minds. We will be going through the book, Telling Yourself the Truth, by William Backus.
